DANIEL ARIAS
With almost 20 years of tango under his belt, Daniel Arias has made his mark as a performer and teacher in the most renowned milongas of Buenos Aires.
After an extensive European tour, Daniel settled in Los Angeles, CA and established himself as a member and popular teacher of the Los Angeles tango community. His Sunday Milonga, La Milonguita which he organized with his partner Laura and ran for 7 years, became one of the most popular milongas in Los Angeles. It was the only Milonga in LA with traditional style seating.
Daniel enforces the Codigos and instructs his students in the traditional milonguero style of dancing. His dance is characterized by his embrace, musicality and crisp steps.
LAURA MINGO
Laura is a milonguera at heart, having grown up in a tango immersed home.
A devoted tango organizer for the last fourteen years, Laura had two of the most popular milongas in Los Angeles, Milonga Uno and Milonga El Floridita which ran for four years and became known as the first Hollywood Tango Club.
A Linguist, Translator, and Simultaneous Interpreter, Laura's artistic side has also made her a renowned tango photographer. Her work is sought after worldwide and has appeared in books and magazines.
In 2013 she was one of the official press photographers at the Buenos Aires Tango World Championship.
Laura is also a Website designer and Social Media expert.
